(See review separately) Let me also say that I have two E200 Blue Dynamic Mics and I was using those at first - they also sound great (This is Blue's cross-over Mic it runs as a dynamic but also takes 48v Phantom powe, so its got a "lifter" built in, and yes they were the first to do that.).Are you getting the picture! If you are Podcasting or doing any type of Broadcast show - don't think twice! Thanks Rode for Hitting this one out of the Park! And Kudo's to Zzounds for making it easy for us musicians and Podcasters to get the gear we need. Of course the King Bee is - in its own right - an awesome Mic. But let me say that this thing makes any Mic sound great.I grabbed one of those King Bee mics on sale and it works fine set to the generic Condenser setting. (I'm talking about the Pod Mic) I had to wait an extra month to get two. This Rode caster Pro has already become so popular that the Mic they designed specifically for Procaster's release keeps selling out. I have been using it now for a month and it is everything Rode says it is and everything every reviewer has commented about. Everything on this puppy works exactly like it should - and with 3 updates already Rode has proven that they listen and act fast to bring the features we need into one unit.Built to last and travel. Ease of use, true broadcast quality sound that doesn't lose its quality and clarity when transferred to Mp3 for your host service. Wow - Rode has hit a mega home run with this one. The process for accessing and allocating tracks in a DAW will vary between platforms and software, but in general you need to select the multitrack USB device in your preferences and select the individual source on a per-track basis. The mic channels are single mono tracks, and all the other tracks are stereo - first left, then right. The remaining tracks represent the sources on the RODECaster Pro, going from left to right across the console - starting with Mic 1 and going across through Mics 2, 3 and 4, the USB input, TRRS phone connector, Bluetooth input, and finally the sound pads. The first two tracks are the stereo mix, exactly as the RODECaster Pro records to the microSD card. This additional USB device has 14 different sources available. You may have to disconnect and then reconnect the USB connection to your computer for your computer to recognize the additional USB device. Once activated, an additional RODECaster Pro USB output device will appear on your computer, in addition to the regular stereo USB output. Multitrack Output to USBMultitrack-to-USB is activated via the RODECaster Pro's Advanced settings. And with Multi-channel Mode, you can output not only the stereo mix, but each individual source over USB, allowing you to separately record each of the sources to its own track for later post-production. The RODECaster Pro also connects to your computer as a USB audio interface, so you can record your podcast to your favourite recording software, or stream live. Recording optionsThe RODECaster Pro operates as a standalone unit straight out of the box, recording your finished podcast direct to a microSD card. The RODECaster Pro also features multistage dynamics, such as compression, limiting, de-essing and noise-gating. These have been incorporated in the audio processing section of the RODECaster Pro, and your sound will have that rich, warm tone only found in professional studios. APHEX On BoardYour pristine signal can also be enhanced with the legendary patented audio processors, APHEX Aural Exciter and APHEX Big Bottom.
